Abandoned dedications

Abandoned Dedications is compiled from a collection of books that I have either found, bought second hand or that have at some point been loaned to me by friends and so far never returned. Each book has been signed by the author and dedicated to a reader, always someone else and usually the original owner. In some cases the book bears a personal inscription on the title page, in others the message is by someone marking their territory. In every instance there is a personal message meant for someone else, the original reader of the book. The collection is on-going and cumulative and in celebration of secondary reading. By way of repatriating these dedications with their original sentiment, they have been compiled in to this volume and are available to download as a PDF. They are given warmly and to be received as anonymously as they are delivered.
