Lacking context

“Nagel’s oeuvre hovers in that precarious interstice between art and the everyday – a location often disregarded, forgotten, faded.”

Brilliant.

You can’t make this stuff up. So much art postions itself in the gap between the high and the low. In fact the majority of the art made on the 20th century can make that claim. It’s hardly disregarded or forgotten. In fact the only thing more over exposed are the prints in the show. Ba-dum-ching.
